"Quilt As You Go" Template - 2 1/2" Triangle

I love the Triangle "QAYG" template, I have had so much fun creating a quilt, pryramids, Xmas trees, bells etc. 

The 2 1/2" Triangle is a 2 piece acrylic template set, you can use a rotary cutter with them and as they are clear you can fussy cut fabric.

The 2 1/2" Triangle also can be used with the 2 1/2" Diamond to create a straight edge, and it also means that with the 1 1/4" half hexagon it goes with the 1 1/4" Star in a Hexagon to create half Star in a Hexagons to make a straight edge.(see diagram)

This triangle also makes really cute bells by joining three (see diagram), once all triangles are stitched together as per the diagram you need to sew the base of the triangles on the long edge together to form a bell shape then you can put a bell in the middle and attaching a ribbon.

Join all 3 sizes of triangles together to form Xmas trees, and don't forget that wonky Xmas trees look good as well!!
